ACTIONS GOLFING STAR!
Tairāwhiti golfers will be familiar with the name Craig Van Der Nagel, who played for the Bay of Plenty team at the
Freyberg Masters men’s national interprovincial on the Awapuni Links late last year.
15 teams were each made up of 5 players (one from each province in NZ). A total of 8 rounds were played over 5 days with Craigs team finishing second overall behind Auckland.
Craig fnished with player of the tournament, scoring 7 wins out of 8 matches. A true star, well done, Craig!
